Started in 2016 by interior architect Natalie Norambuena within Johannesburg’s northern suburbs, Moksha Design aimed to establish a design-led approach to cabinetry. Natalie saw space in the design market for makers of bespoke cabinetry and furniture of subtle beauty. She has worked extensively in the luxury homes sector since 2004, and her experience as director of a successful architectural firm means she is well-placed to deliver at a high level.
Natalie’s involvement in the architectural industry has helped her gain an insight into providing quality products, service, and installation. At Moksha Design, our team only comprises of the best designers, project managers and carpenters. With two bases in Cape Town and Johannesburg, we take on projects through out South Africa.

Our streamlined and fully integrated design, fabrication, and installation service enable us to work across a range of scales with current contracts ranging from R 500, 000.00 to R 3, 000, 000.00. We have aligned ourselves with world class manufacturers based in Johannesburg and Cape Town. Our skilled team of joiners, cabinet makers, and craftsmen ensure that every commission and item is made with care. We can work with a variety of materials and can also procure specialist services through our established collaborative partnerships, including metal workers, stonemasons, and upholsterers.

Founder, Natalie Norambuena, comes from a family of architects and designers. Her childhood was filled with creative inspiration from architectural projects led by her parents and family holidays abroad. She loves creating unique spaces that are both beautiful and practical. Drawing inspiration from her client’s vision is a high priority, whilst making sure that the finished product is classically balanced for timeless appeal.
MOKSHA’s original visionary, Natalie takes the design lead on projects from conception to completion. She is a service-driven perfectionist balancing beauty with project delivery.
